We all hate 'em, but we need 'em. Here are the rules.

GENERAL RULES

• Since it is also a proboards.com rule, you must be at least thirteen years of age to join. And please be honest with your age. The last thing we want is the site to be closed down because of a breach of the ProBoards regulations.
  
• People don't always get along, but please don't fight on any OOC board or in the cbox. We don't want to see whatever drama you're having with someone, if you're having issues with a person, try to work it out in PM, and if it gets out of hand, talk to either myself or Onzy and we will get involved.
  
• Stealing isn't tolerated in any way, shape or form. When you are caught, and mark my words, you will be, then there will be hell to pay. Please credit all stock and art to the rightful owners.
  
• Please keep all advertising to the Advertising boards. If found anywhere else it will be deleted and you will be warned.
  
• Please do not use chat speak in character--ideally not at all, but I know grammar isn't everybody's strong point. Hell, I have issues sometimes, everybody does, but spellchecks do exist and for a reason. Take advantage of those tools.
  
• We try not to use posting sizes, but we'd like for posts to be at least 200 words--100 at the very least. No one liners. Please don't make us start policing posts, it's not fun for anybody.
  
• RESPECT your admins and mods. None of us bite--me not always. We are willing to help but do not confuse our niceness for weakness. Disrespect will get you banned. Difference of opinion is very different and we always welcome ideas or if there's something you'd like to discuss with us, but disrespect any of us and there will be problems.
  
• Swearing is fine, but please use in moderation. Dropping an F-bomb every other sentence is not cool, and frowned upon, and it's going to make you look like an idiot. The site definitely has its mature content, but please, if you're going to go further with intimate relations and the graphic nature, keep it in PM. Consider the younger members, and what a lot of us just don't want to see.
  
• Please create a new account for each character. You can have as many characters as you wish but please remain realistic with how many you can stay active with.
  

HUMAN RULES[/size]

• There is no restriction on age when it comes to characters, but there are quite a few things to take into consideration; i.e. actual laws in the state of California, and I know this because I LIVE in California. Characters cannot drink under the age of 21, and cannot legally live on their own or without a guardian under the age of 18. If your character is under 18, they must attend school and must have a legal guardian, be it parents or an older sibling/aunt/uncle/grandparents/friend of parents, whatever. As long as we don't have a bunch of orphans or runaways running around, there will be no issues. Also, it's not likely at all for someone under 18 to own a stallion and it's illegal for someone under 18 to show a stallion unless its a certain breed show and there are only two.. Maybe three breeds where that's allowed and those breeds are Andalusians, Friesians and Arabs because the stallions are typically extremely gentle.
  
• If your character has a child, you don't necessarily have to make a new application for it and simply make it an NPC, but with births and pregnancies, please clear it with WENDIGO or ONZY first.
  
• Nobody is perfect, please no Mary-Sues or Gary-Stus. Feel free and be as creative with your character as possible but please be realistic with criminal backgrounds. Also, we have no money system at the moment but that's why we ask you to be realistic as well. A person with no job likely cannot afford 12 horses.
  
• You can age your characters at whatever speed you wish, but at least try to actually age them once and awhile.
  
• Horses of every discipline are boarded at Titan Equestrian Centre. Characters cannot have their own barns.
  
• No god modding. You do not have control over what happens with someone else's character unless you and the other person have talked over it beforehand.
  

HORSE RULES[/size]

• Horses age every PD year. The time legend goes by seasons; Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Just like in real life, the new year begins following Winter. The season will be listed in the side bar, be sure you keep an eye on it.
  
• Aside from yearling halter classes and in horse racing, horses can be ridden and shown between the ages of 3-20. The oldest you can ride the horse is 25. Horses can live to up to 35 years old but that is rare.
  
• Horses cannot be any taller than 17.2hh unless either cleared with myself or Onzy.
  
• In order to make your character have another horse, you need to use the section of the form that is used for horse creation and get it approved. Or you can wait and see if there is something you're interested in at the auction house. We will be getting around to creating horses periodically so there you can see what you like.
  
• Crazy horses that have or will kill someone are not allowed. Granted, there is a limitation and we know that there are horses out there who are potentially dangerous, my Diablo d'Oro in particular. If its a racehorse or a stallion and is manageable, then he shouldn't have any problem being cleared. We will not, however, accept a horse that is dangerous owned by a fourteen year old.
  
• Please try to keep to breed standards as for height and colour. Arabians can not be 17hh. The Internet is a good resource for this.
